At Fresh Eyes, our team of proofreaders will make sure that every text is grammatically correct, free from incorrect punctuation, wrong tenses, misspelled words, and other minor errors that take away from the value of the work. We will also make sure that the text is presented in a logical manner in accordance with the subject matter.
As we proofread your work, we will correct the obvious mistakes and errors. We can do this in one of two ways: (1) by marking the errors and corrections in your text and making the changes for you, or (2) by marking the errors and corrections without making any changes to the text and offering suggestions to improve the project. If you choose to change your text based upon our analysis, we can make the changes for you.
Our proofreading services draw on years of experience in various reading endeavors. The team at Fresh Eyes can proofread anything from books to college papers and we assure you that you will be presented without error on the printed page.
The Difference Between Proofreading and Copyediting
The copy-editing and proofreading services are distinctly different services, and they will have to be paid for individually. The difference between proofreading and copyediting is as follows:
Proofreading basically means reading a proof copy of a text in order to detect and correct any errors, such as typographical errors, misspellings, and punctuation, etc.
Copyediting is the editorial work that an editor does to make formatting changes and improvements to a manuscript; copyediting is done prior to the work of proofreaders, who handle documents before final publication.
